MISSION: As a chapter of the National More Light Presbyterians, our mission is: "Following the risen Christ and seeking to make the Church a true community of hospitality, the mission of More Light Presbyterians is to work for the full participation of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people of faith in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA)." -- National More Light Presbyterians

Grand Canyon More Light Presbyterians are dedicated to:   -  Educating and supporting individuals, congregations and churches on GLBT issues through communication, published materials and programs   -  Opening dialogue in congregations and the presbytery to advocate the full participation of GLBT Chirstians in the life and ministry of the Presbyterian Church   -  Working to help pass legislation that eradicates homophobia and injustice in the Presbyterian Church and in society   -  Partnering with other faith traditions to support the GLBT community in matters of justice   -  Recognizing, affirming and supporting the individual God-given gifts of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in the Presbyterian Church   -  Reaching out to and being present for GLBT individuals, families and friends.
